Terms of Service
Effective July 27, 2026 · SententAI, LLC
These Terms govern your use of Sentent Core, the hosted identity and authentication service that SententAI, LLC and its clients use to sign people in to their applications. They took effect on July 27, 2026.
1.Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Sentent Core (the “Service”), operated by SententAI, LLC, a Texas limited liability company(“SententAI, LLC,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By signing in to the Service, or by using any application that authenticates through it, you agree to these Terms.
If you are using the Service through an account provisioned by an employer, client, or other organization, you are also subject to that organization’s policies, and a separate written agreement between SententAI, LLCand that organization may govern the relationship. Where that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for that organization’s accounts.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
2.The Service
Sentent Coreis a hosted identity and authentication service. It acts as a single sign-on provider: it verifies who you are once, and then issues identity and access tokens to the applications you sign in to (each, a “Connected Application”). Connected Applications may be operated by SententAI, LLC or by its clients.
The Service implements standard OAuth 2.1 and OpenID Connect protocol endpoints and provides an account portal where you can review and manage your profile, sessions, multi-factor authentication, and the applications you have authorized.
The Service is infrastructure, not content. What a Connected Application does after you sign in — the features it offers, the data it stores, and the terms it asks you to accept — is governed by that application’s own terms, not by these Terms.
3.Accounts, invitations, and organization control
Accounts on the Service are provisioned by invitation only. You cannot self-register. Access is granted by SententAI, LLCor by an administrator of an organization (a “tenant”) that holds a relationship with SententAI, LLC.
If your account belongs to an organization, that organization’s administrators control it. Administrators may:
- invite you and other members, and set or change the roles that determine what you can access;
- view membership and account status, and view security and audit information relating to activity on the organization's account;
- deactivate, suspend, or remove your membership, which ends your access to the organization's Connected Applications; and
- require security controls such as multi-factor authentication.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You may not create an account for anyone else, share an account, or transfer an account without our written consent. Accounts are for individual, identified people; automated access uses separate service credentials issued through the console.
4.Your security responsibilities
Because the Service is the front door to every Connected Application you use, the security of your credentials is the security of everything behind them. You are responsible for:
- safeguarding your sign-in credentials, magic-link emails, recovery codes, and any device enrolled as a second factor;
- keeping the email address on your account under your exclusive control, since it can be used to recover access;
- enrolling and maintaining multi-factor authentication where it is offered or required;
- all activity that occurs under your account, whether or not you authorized it; and
- notifying us at scott@sententai.com promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, and signing out of active sessions from the account portal.
We may require you to re-authenticate, re-verify your identity, or complete a step-up multi-factor challenge before performing sensitive operations.
5.Acceptable use
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
- access any account, tenant, application, token, or data that you have not been authorized to access;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any authentication, authorization, or rate-limiting measure;
- circumvent, disable, or interfere with rate limits, quotas, throttling, or abuse-prevention controls, including by distributing requests across accounts, addresses, or credentials to evade them;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or derive source code or non-public protocol behavior from the Service, except to the extent that restriction is unenforceable under applicable law;
- use the Service to send unsolicited messages, to phish, or to impersonate any person or organization;
- introduce malware, or use the Service to distribute, store, or transmit unlawful material;
- resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone product without our written agreement;
- impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Service, or use automated means to access it other than through the documented API with valid credentials; or
- use the Service in violation of any applicable law, export control, or sanctions regime.
Security research is welcome, but coordinate with us first at scott@sententai.com. Unannounced testing against production is not authorized.
6.Connected Applications
When you sign in to a Connected Application, you are asked to authorize the release of certain information about you — typically your name, email address, profile picture, and your organization membership and roles. You choose whether to grant that authorization, and you can withdraw it later from the account portal.
Connected Applications operated by third parties, including our clients, are independent of SententAI, LLC. We do not control them, and we are not responsible for their content, practices, availability, or their handling of information after it is released to them. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
7.Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, protocol implementation, documentation, user interface, design, and the SententAI, LLC and Sentent Core names, logos, and marks, is owned by SententAI, LLC and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership to you.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable right to access and use the Service for the purpose of authenticating to Connected Applications you are authorized to use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
You retain ownership of the information you provide. You grant us the rights necessary to host, process, transmit, and display that information for the purpose of operating the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without restriction and without obligation to you.
8.Service availability and disclaimers
We work to keep the Service available and correct, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, including protocol endpoints and features, and we may perform maintenance that makes the Service temporarily unavailable. Where a separate written agreement sets a service level for an organization, that agreement controls for that organization.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTENTAI, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND ANY WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
9.Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SENTENTAI, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, OR ANY OTHER THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS PAID TO SENTENTAI, LLC FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
These limitations apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
10.Suspension and termination
Your access to the Service may end in several ways:
- an administrator of your organization may deactivate or remove your membership at any time, which ends your access to that organization's Connected Applications;
- SententAI, LLC may suspend or terminate access immediately, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe there is a security risk, a violation of these Terms, a legal requirement, or abuse of the Service; and
- SententAI, LLCmay terminate or wind down the Service, or an organization’s access to it, on reasonable notice under the applicable agreement.
You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to close your account by contacting scott@sententai.com. Where your account belongs to an organization, closure may require that organization’s administrator.
Sections that by their nature should survive — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive termination. Data handling after termination is described in the Privacy Policy.
11.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes or as legal requirements change. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. For changes that materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide reasonable advance notice — by email to the address on your account, by notice within the Service, or to your organization’s administrator — before the change takes effect.
Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not accept them, stop using the Service.
12.Governing law and venue
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or the Service are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
You and SententAI, LLC agree that the exclusive venue for any dispute will be the state or federal courts located in Texas, and each party consents to the personal jurisdiction of those courts and waives any objection to that venue.
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will stay in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
